You know, in the Japanese version of the game, the minus world was actually different. It was way more interesting than what the rest of the world got.

Do you think its a glitch, or an easter egg put in the game by creators?

@Godzilla so to put it, hexadecimals is basically 01 02, etc... so basically when you are in the warp zone it triggers the "welcome to Warp Zone!" which it makes the 24 05 24 turn into 04 03 02 warpzones, because the "Welcome to Warp Zone!" text doesn't appear and isn't triggered, it makes it 24 05 24, when entering the 1st pipe, it will lead you to the world 36-1, which by the code, is blank spaces. The world is just a copy of 7-2 and infinitely loops, while the famicon actually has a different type of minus world this is what is to be expected, now if you enter the middle pipe, you will just end up to world 5.
